About our Statement Jewelry
Purity/affirmation rings

As women we grow up being taught to cater to other peoples, we are being told to be seen not heard, at least that is what I always heard growing up. In a society like the one we live in today, it’s taught that being sexually empowered means to have sex frequently or being sexual in a way, wether expressively or insinuating. I think it’s a disservice to women that our bodies should come first before our minds and soul. We deserve to be seen, I mean truly seen. We deserve to also heal and to find ourselves. Societal norms change all the time and to base our validation on the opinion of others is the easiest way to a downfall and self doubt. Because if men have the power to lift you up best believe they also have the power to bring you down.

Sex is often seen as a “hello, nice to meet you, oops I didn’t like you, so next” But the truth is that sex is just as spiritual as it is physical and emotional, and that’s the part they don’t want to talk about. Sex can create a bond with someone that you were never supposed to create a bond with. It may even cloud your judgement and make you see things that are not real, making it harder to separate yourself from a partner. I have had similar experiences which is why the burden to pursue purity and encourage others was put on my heart.

Your body is the temple of the Lord, and you are wonderfully and fearfully made and you are worthy to God.

Pursuing Purity is hard, especially in a society that is full of promiscuity, but it can be done. I made a commitment to to be abstinent till marriage and it still stands today by Gods grace. So sisters, I make jewelry to show an outward expression of an inward commitment, I designed the purity ring myself and many other pieces that our in this collection. It is truly rewarding as I have seen change in my mind body and soul. Where validation through sex, and by opinions of others drop to the floor. As women we need to we need to show up for ourselves. You are the best you there ever will be and you are deeply loved by God. So care for yourself, be grounded in your sexuality, in yourself expression and in your intentions.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER

My name is Trisha Fobi, a Cameroonian born American, I am inspired by the women in my life like my mom and grandma. I was raised by my grandma and even at a young age I wore her jewelry and wigs. Now these wigs were not 24” Brazilian hair but they fixed me up for church okay. Their jewelry always made a statement. My moms being solid gold and my grandma with the chunky statement sets of necklaces, earrings and bangles. I have always had a love for jewelry as it is the one thing that elevates your look, but I also knew that I didn’t just want to design jewelry but I wanted to design jewelry with intention, jewelry that not only made statements but made women feel beautiful, empowered and confident. Wether you’re going to class or to dinner, it was a piece that spoke to you.

One of my missions is to bridge the gap between good quality jewelry and the price tag. I love jewelry and not finding jewelry that was beautiful and within my price point hurt a bit. So I am so excited to make luxury available to women as they deserve.

Ive also had experiences that have inspired some the jewelry. Finding my identity and building my confidence, has helped me heal and that’s why I want to share. So please come on the journey of self discovery, where we are intentional about self care and women empowerment. Gods way.
